Are Bounce Houses Okay in the Rain?
Are Bounce Houses Okay in the Rain?
The Answer: No, It Is Not Safe.
While the bounce house itself will not get damaged, the blowers CANNOT be operated in or around water because of the risk of electrical shock. This is also true for “wet” inflatables (like waterslides). Although the inflatable itself is designed for water, the blower it uses is not. If it rains unexpectedly during your party, follow these steps:
- Safely get all occupants out of the inflatable.
- Shut off the bounce house asap.
- Disconnect the blower from the power supply.
- Move the blower inside or to a dry location.
What We Do to Help Avoid Weather-Related Issues
At My Bounce House Rental CT L.L.C. we track the weather closely every week. If we believe for any reason that weather conditions will not allow for the safe operation of an inflatable, we will cancel the event. Not to worry! You have the option to reschedule or receive a refund. We offer full refunds (including the deposit) for any event that is cancelled due to bad weather.
