What Age is Appropriate for a Bounce House?
The Honest Answer: It Depends!
In general, bounce houses are considered safe for kids age 6 – 13 (and 14 if the inflatable is large enough). Ultimately, it depends on a number of different factors. Every bounce house has different age, weight, and occupancy limits (see chart below).
How Can I Check an Inflatables’ Age Limit?
When in doubt, always refer to the manufacturers’ recommendations and rules. Usually, you can find manufacturer guidelines printed clearly on the front of the inflatable (see the photo below for an example). These guidelines will include more than just age limits. They will generally include, occupancy limits, weight limits, and more.
